We are excited to announce that we have another round of useful updates from our Product team! Within the past months, we have focused on improving a variety of features as well as adding some new sub-features to make sure our clients can optimize efficiency within HR processes. If you would like to have a more frequent overview please feel free to check our Changelog. And as always, please do reach out on our Roadmap if you have any feedback or ideas!

Recruiting

flair's recruiting feature had a few new updates. First of all, you can create an evaluation form and assign any responsible employees to evaluate each candidate. Once the feedback is collected, the process of choosing the right talent will be much easier! We also made sure that you will also be able to invite any employee to be a hiring manager, which could be accessed through the Employee HUB.

Employee Hub

The past few months, we focused on improving the Employee Hub. One of the sub-features that went through loads of implementations was the calendar on the Hub. Firstly, there is a new variety of calendar filters (location, department, teams, & special groups). You can also choose new views for your shifts, depending on your preference. And last but not least, you can subscribe to your colleagues' calendars in Google or Outlook calendars.

Additionally, you can choose which notifications you would like to receive per email with our newly implemented notification settings. From now on, there is also no need to use email or Slack to send your employee' files as we currently support document uploading within our Employee Hub. As soon as managers review documents and all necessary files, it is immediately available for download.

Human Resource Management

At flair, we acknowledge that every business is unique and individual. Therefore we try to make sure that we support our customers with flexible configuration. So here are some insights on the latest updates.

Keeping our different clients in mind, we added support for flexible customization of employees' workload. For example, you can now define working hours per day depending on each employee. On the other hand, we know that not every employee needs to track their time. Therefore we added support for time-tracking-less configuration within your workloads. We also rebuilt all of the time-related objects to support different timezones for various locations fully.

Shift Planner

Among other updated features, the Shift Planner also had a variety of new additions. We have made sure to elevate the efficiency when it comes to having multiple employees with different skills. You can filter employees for skills you need, pre-schedule shifts, and also clone open shifts as much as you would like! Additionally, one of our most requested features has finally been implemented – which enables your whole team to add notes to the shift planner, which would be visible on the Employee Hub.

What's Next?

flair is constantly trying to make sure our customers have the most pleasant and efficient experience. And we have a lot of exciting things planned for the future, our team is currently working on developing a mobile app and improving performance feedback cycles. Other projects we're also working on include improving absence management. If you want to keep up to date with our updates – check out our Changelog.
